HIP is actually just a 'nickname' for an amazing non-profit community called Homeschooling with Intention and Purpose.

You may be asking yourself so what makes them different than every other homschool school group? Good question! I'd love to answer that.

HIP was formed by families using a Leadership Education Philosophy to homeschool. Leadership Education is based on principles outlined in the book, The Thomas Jefferson Education by Dr. Oliver DeMille.  HIP members use those principles as their foundation, but also use a variety of concepts found in the works of Charlotte Mason, John Holt, Susan Wise Bauer, and others to create their own personalized Leadership Eduation homeschooling style. 

HIP is the fruition of the enthusiasm, excitement, and momentum of this collective group of families. The impact, support, and success we have as a group magnifies and strengthens our capacity to live the Intentional life, impact our society, and fulfill our individual missions.

One thing that makes our group really unique is that its not just the kids that are getting a Leadership Style education. The adults are joining in on the fun too! Yes that's right...most of us moms and dads are working on getting and continuing our education right along side our kids! They inspire us and we inspire them. Its an incredible cycle of learning.
