I am so excited about the Retreat breakout sessions. The breakout sessions are a series of classes held Friday afternoon from 2:00-4:30. You'll get to choose between a few different classes, and will have the opportunity to discuss, listen, and learn! More details about some of the classes will be posted soon, but to give you an idea of what is being offered here you go...

How do I stay sane and use organization and a schedule as tools for inspiring my family? Come discuss and learn how to give yourself permission to be the expert on your home and family!

Untying the Knots of Scholar Phase
Once we grasp the concept of core and love of learning phases and start swinging freely about...we often find ourselves all tangled in knots when our children are ready for scholar phase. What's the hang up? How will they ever climb their way to college? Find out more about this amazing phase they call Scholar in this fabulous class!

So what are they again, why are the important, and how should I be using them in my home? Come learn all about the 8 Keys and why they are so important to running a successful TJed home.

If you struggle with this key come explore what exactly You NOT Them means and why its so important. We will be reviewing and discussing the different ways and means to support your study efforts as you "say 'yes' to disciplining yourself and getting the education you want and that your kids need you to exemplify."

So now that you've made it through Friday, the 'educational' day at the Retreat what now?! How can Dads be a part of the homeschool experience? Come talk about what you've learned and what (if anything) you'd like to see happen in your family's homeschooling journey once you return home.
